Football

Liverpool is able to provide the world with two Premiership teams for the beautiful game, Liverpool F.C. and Everton F.C.. The teams are fanatically supported and home games always guarantee entertainment both during the game and in the city centre afterwards. With Anfield and Goodison Park being closely situated to the city centre both are easily accessible via a taxi or walking if you so choose.

For those of you who support the teams across the border, Manchester United and Manchester City, our apartments are situated within easy access of the main train routes from Lime Street, National coach service or motorway networks into Manchester, which can allow you the benefit of enjoying the game in Manchester and the evening in Liverpool.

Horse Racing - Aintree

The Jewel in the Crown of the jump season calendar is held at Aintree racecourse starting on the 7th of April for race goers from far and wide. The 8th of April brings the glamour of ladies day and the three day event climaxes with the John Smith’s Grand National on the 9th of April.

Chester

Once the jump calendar finishes the flat racing starts. Racing begins with the three day May Festival putting Chester in the racing spotlight nationally. After May, another 11 days / evenings of racing are on offer throughout the summer totalling 14 race days / evenings during the season. Each fixture has its own unique identity to ensure a wide-ranging appeal.

Haydock

Haydock racecourse has the ability to provide racing all year round with its dual purpose track for jump and flat racing. With 30 race meetings during the year, it is a great day out for all the family.

Golf

Royal Birkdale   Set among the beautiful wooded area and sand dunes of Ainsdale’s National Trust Red Squirrel Reserve, the course can be accessed via the local rail network, or by a 25minute taxi/car ride to Ainsdale.

Tennis

Every year the Liverpool tennis tournament is held at Caulderstones Park. This year the event is being held between the 16th and 20th of June. In previous years numerous stars of the game have visited the tournament, with both Greg Rusedski and Bjorn Borg being amongst them last year. Come and enjoy your strawberries and cream whilst watching top rate tennis in beautiful surroundings.

The Albert Dock

Situated in the largest group of Grade I listed buildings in the UK, the Albert Dock houses many award winning visitor attractions including Tate Liverpool, the famous Beatles Story, Merseyside Maritime Museum and the new International Slavery Museum.
